CO2 brought closer to home...

The Antartic Ocean has so much CO2 in it that it cannot absorb any more and thus the CO2 will stay in the atmosphere now to warm up the planet. This is very alarming because this is something that was not suppose to happen for decades yet. It is believed that increased winds over the last half-century are to blame. Of course, factories, coal-fired power plants and petroleum-powered motor vehicle exhaust do not help matters either. Since the beginning of the Industrial Revolution the world's oceans have had to absorb a quarter of the 500 billion tons of carbon that has been emitted into the atmosphere by humans.

If this does not serve as a wake up call for us as humans, what will?!?!
